Jonathan D. Carroll, M.A. has been working with families in the Chicagoland Area and all over the United States for over 10 years. As a former Special Education teacher, he has a strong understanding of the Special Education process from initiating a case-study review to implementing and maintaining the right program for learners.
Jonathan Carroll received a B.A. in Communication from DePaul University in Chicago and a M.A. in Learning Disabilities with additional studies in Social/Emotional Disorders from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago. His graduate thesis examined ADD/ADHD and the use of medication along with alternative intervention strategies. Jonathan Carroll’s other professional memberships include CEC (Council for Exceptional Children), CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder), ADDA (Attention Deficit Disorder Association), LDA (Learning Disabilities Association), COPAA (Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates) and IPA (Illinois Psychological Association).
Jonathan Carroll is considered an expert in the field of education. In addition to helping individuals and families, he is a regular speaker at conferences and seminars highlighting current trends in education. He is a featured guest on ABC, FOX and NBC newscasts in Chicago discussing various topics on education.
Outside interests include watching and participating in sports, fishing, reading, music and technology.
